At Acumatica Summit 2020, our 8 team members and 15 clients who attended were treated to opportunities to learn from and network with other Acumatica users, partners, developers, and Acumatica staff, see the exciting new features and functionality in Acumatica 2020 R1, and experience Acumatica’s vision for the future, all while enjoying the excitement that Las Vegas offers.
While, seeing how the technical advancements to Acumatica can benefit our clients is exciting, as the owner of NexVue (now Net at Work), I look at the bigger picture presented at Acumatica Summit; and I was pleased with what I saw.
After over two decades implementing and developing on other ERP platforms, NexVue (now Net at Work) made the decision to go “all-in” on Acumatica 8 years ago and we haven’t looked back. Because we staked the reputation and future of our business on Acumatica, it is critical that we continue to see Acumatica committed to the core values in which we placed our trust.
Two things I observed at Acumatica Summit reaffirmed my belief that betting on Acumatica was the right choice:
Post-Acquisition Attitude
In the past, I’ve seen the leadership of other software companies drift away from the business after their solutions were acquired by a larger organization. That is not the case with Acumatica.
Following the announcement last year that Acumatica had been acquired by EQT, I was excited to see the executive management team not only intact at Summit, but more passionate, motivated, and driven than ever to make Acumatica the leading ERP solution on the market. It was good to see CEO, Jon Roskill’s, authenticity and energetic motivation to keeping driving Acumatica forward. It’s great that the investment of increased capital is matched by the motivation of the entire leadership team, both of which are higher than ever.
Sticking to the Technology Strategy
More than ever, Acumatica is positioning themselves as, not just an ERP company, but a technology company first and foremost. In terms of digital transformation, that have an unprecedented focus and investment in R&D that goes beyond ERP to truly add value to their customers.
This commitment to technology is evident in the practical applications that they are developing for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to be integrated into our clients’ businesses while simplifying workflows to enhance efficiency.
We are stepping into the next technology revolution. The breadth of impact that Acumatica has on a business is dramatically changing as a result. Through their technology-focused strategy, Acumatica is positioned to continue to deliver increasing value.
